Default Desc. Essay
lols I wrote an essay about violins for english when I was baked. I should've done it sober though because I couldve made the whole thing sound sexual looking back now ahaha

Violin

The violin is a time tested-work of art. It has been relevant in music and culture
since it's inception. The architecture, strings, bow, and even the rosin applied to the bow
all blend together to create a beautiful and unique resonance.

Violins are described as holding an hourglass shape, which also determines the
violin's "voice". Its deep red maple wood body gleams from the finely polished varnish.
The concaving sides in the middle allow the bow room to coax the strings into singing.
The hollow interior amplifies each quivering note to a heavenly tone. The neck of the
violin is made from ebony, painted black; which is preferred because of its durability and
beauty. At the head of the neck rests the scroll; and inside that, the peg box. Each
individual string is mounted on their own peg, which may be tightened or loosened to
fluctuate the pitch of its string.

The vocal chords of the instrument, strings are typically made of steel. They are
also known to be crafted from sheep gut, after stretched and dried. Assorted metals are
wound on each string, except the E string; which is typically unwound and left plain or
plated in gold-plated steel. The vibration of the string, aggrivated by the player bowing,
cantillates a scale of notes. When tuned correctly and with the right player, it can serenade
your conscious.

The bow is normally crafted from Brazilwood. The tip and heel (known as the
frog) of the bow hold a white ribbon of horsetail underneath the stick. On the frog is a
bolt that tightens or loosens the ribbon, which affects the sound produced. A tighter
ribbon is preferred, as it grips the strings best. To aid it's grip and enhance the sound, the
ribbon is scraped on a small block of rosin.

The beauty and finesse of the violin is unparalleled. It's masterfully designed to
generate only the finest of tones. It still reigns as one of the most respected instruments in
the world, and will remain so for as long as there's music and an audience to appreciate it.

This thread is kinda awesome, too bad I don't have any good secrets. The only thing i can think of is that I showed my male cousin how to jack off when we were young (no idea how old we were). I felt I had made an incredible discovery to the benefit of mankind. See this is why the internet is here, so that I don't think I need to show my cousin how to jack off.
